SCHNEIDER PRECOAT FILTRATION SYSTEMS ARE
 Self-contained, packaged units that meet present and anticipated requirements of the Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule (ESWTR). Cryptosporidium and Giardia are removed by Diatomaceous Earth (DE) using a patented Auto Rate Bodyfeed system for low cost water filtering. These systems economically filter 5-4000 gpm of ground or surface water with none of the drawbacks of older designed systems. This new generation of DE filtration features easily discarded dry cake, zero liquid waste discharge, and zero backwash.

The modular Schneider design permits each system to be tailored to the specific needs of the user at substantially lower operating costs than other water treatment methods.

Either system brings lake, river, surface and well water within EPA requirements for safe drinking water. Both systems employ a patented media optimization program to provide very low cost water production.

A trailer-mounted pilot plant is available for demonstration testing. We also provide disinfection equipment, analyzers, telemetry, SCADA, tanks, buildings, filter media and, of course training and service.
