ACTI-CEL R® is a filter aid developed and patented by the J.R. Schneider Company for use in non-ferrous metalworking and rolling. It is a direct replacement for, and eliminates the health hazards associated with the use of, diatomaceous earth (DE). It is most effective in removing metallic fines, oxides and soaps from mineral oil or paraffin based metalworking coolants by both mechanical and chemical processes.
